Our restaurant partners describe us as “Shopify, but for restaurants”. Since our launch in 2020, we have processed over $2.5M in revenue for our 75+ restaurant partners and have 60,000 registered users in the Bay Area/Seattle. Our software enables restaurants to take online orders and manage their online presence with the lowest costs and most features within our segment.
Our software gives Restaurant owners access to unique functionalities: contactless QR code table-dining, customer loyalty programs, AI Agents to manage their marketing, analytics and more.
Our latest innovation comes through LAIRA - an AI agent we specifically developed for the restaurant/hospitality industry. LAIRA can autonomously perform marketing and restaurant management functions (manage menu prices, write blogs, create coupons and promotions, analytics, manage CRM etc).
At this stage, we are a 10 person team looking for a business-development minded individual to help us define a forward looking vision and scale the business with what we have built. You will receive founder level equity.
What you will be responsible for:
- Working with founders to develop and define a forward looking vision for Lokobee.
- Putting on multiple hats/being scrappy
- Engaging in conversations with potential investors
- Representing Lokobee at potential events and conferences
- Helping source and negotiate enterprise level contracts with marketing agencies/restaurant adjacent companies for LAIRA
- Having a priority towards business development - specifically with sourcing and negotiating business deals with enterprise level customers and potential integrations of Lokobee’s tech with adjacent companies (restaurant/hospitality)
- Actively engaging in conversations regarding M&A opportunities for Lokobee and our technology
- Actively focusing on any activities that will increase revenue for the firm
Preferred Qualifications :
- We are looking for a seasoned executive/entrepreneur with a knack for scaling businesses
- Experience in business development,
ideally with a background in the restaurant or hospitality tech space
- Connections in the restaurant tech/MarTech space
- Interest in working with AI technology and bringing it to market
- Someone who is willing to get their hands dirty/wear multiple hats in a startup environment and pace
Compensation:
- As we are a pre-money startup, we cannot pay a base salary. However, you would receive a significant founder level equity position and decision making power, as this role expects founder level dedication to Lokobee.
